Bonnie White Displays Art

A New Watercolor Show in Stevenson

Stevenson, WA- The Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center Museum in Stevenson, WA announces a new art show. “From Mountain to Mountain” is the title of Northwest native Bonnie White’s new display of transparent watercolors now showing in the short term art gallery of the Museum.

The show will be up through Monday, June 28th.

The show includes twenty-eight pieces and is open to the public at no charge. This means you can enjoy the show without paying admission. The Museum is open seven days a week from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Each piece is for sale with a portion of the sale benefiting the Museum. She also has made available note cards as well as matted 8x10’s and 11x14’s in a wide variety of subject matter including landscapes and animals. The framing of any one of these pieces will be easy since they are in standard frame sizes. The note cards make wonderful gifts to honor a birthday, hostess gift, anniversary or special occasion

One of her paintings received the “Outstanding Watercolor Finalist” award in February from the 2010 On Line Art Studio Painting Competition. One other painting was selected for the 2010 National Watercolor Society Exhibit in San Pedro, CA. This gives an indication of the quality of her art.

Bonnie is very supportive of the Museum and has donated one of her works, “Eternal Spring,” to be a raffle item.  Visitors to the Museum may purchase tickets for five dollars for a chance to win a framed watercolor valued at three hundred dollars. The winning ticket will be drawn Monday, June 28th, at 5:00 pm. The winner will be notified the following day. Just be certain to print clearly either a daytime phone number or email address on the ticket.

A retrospective of her work will also be on display at the Stevenson Community Library through the month of May. Both exhibits are well worth your time to see.
